Carlos Hinostroza, 70, passed away Friday May 5th, at INOVA Fairfax Hospital following a sudden infection.
He leaves behind 5 Children, Jacqueline and Ingrid Hinostroza, Roy, Anthony and Sonya Campbell as well as 8 Grandchildren and 1 Great Granddaughter and many close friends and family and longtime companion, Tonya Campbell.
Born in Peru, he immigrated to the States in 1975, to follow his dream as a conga player and make a better life for his family back home. He was a hardworking, kind and happy man who loved taking pride in his skilled trade hanging and finishing drywall.
In 1996 he was diagnosed with kidney disease and fought a long battle while on dialysis for 21 years. Through all the odds he was a happy man who put smiles on everyone’s face. He was a remarkably kind person to all those who he knew. Carlos will be forever loved and missed. A truly loving soul who has gone home to God.
A celebration of his life will be held for friends and family on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 12pm-2pm and 6pm-8pm at Everly Community Funeral Care, 6161 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA 22044.
