Margaret Karageorge, age 82, of Falls Church, VA died peacefully on January 21, 2018 at the Burke Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on May 18, 1935 in Greece to the late Leonidas and Penelope Triantoyianis. Margaret was a devoted member of St. Katherine’s Greek Orthodox Church, Falls Church, VA.
Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Demosthenes Karageorge, loving and devoted mother of Helen Zissios and her husband John of Falls Church, VA, Penny Parasidis and her husband Steve of Fairfax, VA and her son Paul Karageorge, proud grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 24th from 11:00am to 11:30am at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, 3149 Glen Carlyn Road, Falls Church, VA 22041, where funeral services will be held at 11:30am. Interment will immediately follow at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in Margaret’s name to St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church.
