On Sunday October 4th, The Lord called Alberta "Ann" Grooms home to heaven.
She is loved and survived by her loyal Husband Larry Grooms, her daughters, Bettyann Farmer and Mary Trevors. As well as, Grandchildren Eric, Deanne, Aaron. She was blessed with 2 amazing son-in-laws, Frank and Danny. Her nieces, nephew's, great and even great-great's meant the world to her.
She was born and raised in Washington, DC. She was one of Albert and Marjorie Arminger's 6 children. Mary Saylor, Barbara Maxwell, Henry, John and Joey Arminger.
Family was the most important thing to her. She taught us that, "Blood doesn't make you family, your heart does." She extended that love and opened her heart and home to more people than I can count, without hesitation or thought of personal cost.
Ann found great joy feeding people. She enjoyed sharing her gifts of baking and cooking with those that were "Special" to her. She loved making Cheesecakes with Larry. She often said she couldn't do it without him.
Per Ann's request, there will be no services.
Please join us here as we remember the good times. Feel free share your favorite story or memory with those that knew and loved her the most.
She hated having her picture taken. If you have any good pictures of her. Please share them here. Thank you.
God Bless
