Antonia Vasquez Orantes

Antonia Vasquez Orantes, 67, passed away on Oct. 27th, 2023, surrounded by her family. Antonia was born on December 12, 1955, in the city of San Salvador, El Salvador. She immigrated to America in search of a better life for her and her family in 1984 and achieved her American Citizenship in 2012. She served for 30 years as a teacher assistant for Arlington County Public Schools, 13 years at Mt Olivet Methodist Church Preschool, and 18 years as a cashier at the Pentagon City Costco. Antonia graduated from Northern Virginia Community College and received a Certificate in Early Childhood Education in 2005. She was a kindhearted and dedicated instructor who impacted the lives of her students during her honorable career. She was a wonderful, loving, devoted mother and friend. She leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. Antonia was immensely proud of her family and is survived by her two children Ana Mejia Vasquez and Evelyn Reyes and four grandchildren. The funeral service celebrating the beautiful life of Antonia will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 11am at Everly Funeral Home 6161 Leesburg Pike, Fall Church, Va. All are welcome to attend.
