Garrett James Cavanaugh

Cavanaugh, Garrett James, age 22, passed away suddenly on September 21, 2018 in
McLean, Virginia.
Garrett was an avid DC sports fan and was delighted when his Capitals came home
with the Stanley Cup. Garrett loved spending time with his friends and family and
was extremely proud of his Irish heritage.
He is survived by his mother, Alison LeMaster, his father Patrick O. Cavanaugh, his
twin sister Cameron, older sister Devon, and older brother Jordan. He is also
survived by his grandparents, Jennifer and J.D. Pitts and many aunts, uncles, cousins,
and friends.
Visitation will be held at Everly Funeral Home, 6161 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA
22044 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 26. Services will be held at St.
Luke Catholic Church 7001 Georgetown Pike, McLean, VA 22101 on Thursday,
September 27 at 11:00 a.m.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Serenity Acres
Treatment Center, the Joey Pizzano Memorial Fund, or the American Society for the
Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
