Genevieve Anne Maldonado

Genevieve Anne Maldonado was born in Buxton, Derbyshire, England in 1942 to Thomas Irwin and Edith Ingleby. She had two sisters that she adored, Margaret and Pat and many nieces and nephews, who live around the world, that she loved. Anne was a wonderful and caring daughter, sister, wife, aunt, friend, grandmother and nurse. She was married to Diego Maldonado, of La Paz, Bolivia, for almost 52 years and had a daughter, Joanne Margaret Maldonado, and a granddaughter, Mia Genevieve Velasquez. She was an avid gardener and the past President of the Springfield Acres Garden Club. She loved to be in her garden in Falls Church in the Spring with her beloved husband and especially loved daffodils and azaleas.

In lieu of flowers, Anne Maldonado’s family welcomes donations to Green Spring Gardens for a memorial bench in her name.
