Jane Gibson Nassif

Jane Gibson was born June 19th, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois.  She met her husband, Dr. Sami Nassif (deceased), as a nursing student at the University of Iowa.  They married in 1959 and moved their young family to Beirut, Lebanon.  There, they spent many happy years by the sea- raising their 3 daughters, Leila, Maya, and Samia.  Returning to the States in 1975, Sami and Jane resided in Virginia where they enjoyed the eventual addition of son-in-law Chris Vanover and grandchildren Emily, Philip, and Leila.

Throughout her life, Jane enjoyed reading, traveling the world, family beach trips to Hilton Head, and a daily dose of ice cream.  She will ever remain a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother in all of our hearts.

Services will be held privately, and condolences will be received by the family at their home.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Doctors Without Borders.
