Margarita Anne Castro

"Maggie", age 88, of Reston, VA died on Wednesday July 7, 2021.  She is survived by her children Cristina Tercero, John (Cheryl), Frank (Kathleen), and Stephen (Jean).  Also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents Dorothy (McNutt) and Jose Tercero, and her brother Joseph Kenneth Tercero.

Maggie was born on September 26, 1932.  She was raised in Washington, DC on Nebraska Ave, NW and graduated from The Academy of the Holy Cross.   She was married and divorced from John R. Castro.  She raised four children while living in Germany, Greece, Panama and Springfield, VA.  She worked as an executive secretary for the Central Intelligence Agency for 28 years.  After retirement from government service in 1996, she worked part-time at CACI, redacting formerly classified documents.  After CACI, she spent her time with family and especially loved seeing her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 18, 2021 between 1:00pm and 4:00pm at Everly Funeral Home, 6161 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA  22044 (703) 532-5161.
