Mary Kathleen McKinley, beloved mother, passed away at home in Falls Church, VA on November 19, 2017 at the age of 74 after a four year battle with cancer. She is the daughter of Jacob and Kathleen Stein of North Dakota, lived most of her adult life in Southern California, and called Virginia her home during her illness.

She was predeceased by her husband William John McKinley. She is survived by her son Scott McKinley as well as three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved. Mary was a spirited, brave, and generous person who loved nature, reading, games and puzzles. She will be dearly missed.
