Sandra N Ola

On Tuesday December 14th, the beloved matriarch of the Ola family passed away peacefully from natural causes. She leaves behind to cherish her memory and selfless devotion as wife of our late father Lewis Ola, mother to Michael, Steven, Bret and Mark, grandmother to Kassondra, Sianna and Logan, and brothers Leo and Terry Neville as surviving family.

Sandra left her home in Youngstown, Ohio at age 18 and moved to Washington D.C. in the late 1950’s to work at the Navy Department and later for the Air Force at the Pentagon where she met her husband.

After marriage, she devoted herself to the role of wife and mother, raising 5 children and volunteering at Fairfax High School in Northern Virginia. Tragically, her only daughter, Lisa passed away before her in 2003.

She was also an accomplished artist in oil painting and pottery, leaving behind many cherished pieces that will continue to remind us of the talented and lovely person who will be in our memories forever.

Services will be held at Everly Community Funeral Care at 6161 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA 22044. Viewing will be held Monday Dec 27th from 1pm to 5pm. A Service will be held on Tuesday Dec 28th at 11:00AM.
