On August 15, 2016, Lucy A. Henshaw passed away at the Virginia Hospital Center, Arlington, VA.    Born in Pennsylvania on September 22, 1924 to the late John & Elva Bamberger Thompson, she was the beloved wife of Philip B. Henshaw who predeceased her in 2006.  Lucy is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Tony) Munera and Beth (Bruce) Carty and her son in law, Bud Shumate.  She leaves behind 6 grandchildren, Andy Munera, Tripp Shumate, Brian Shumate, Amy Rodgers, Colleen Carty and Nicole Carty as well as 8 great-grandchildren.
