Arsenio M. Romero, 91, of Alexandria, Virginia, died March 3, 2017, at home surrounded by his loving family. The youngest of four children, Mr. Romero was born July 5, 1925, in Cochabamba, Bolivia, the son of the late Leonor and Manuel Romero. He is pre-deceased by his wife, Sergia Grageda whom he married in 1946, and who died in 2008. He immigrated from Bolivia in 1969 and became an American citizen in August 1993. Arsenio worked in security with International Business Services from 1970 to 2010, and was assigned to the Organization of American States from 1970 to 2003. He is survived by his son Gonzalo, his daughters Miriam, Rosario, Maria Elena, Carmen and Cintya; his grandchildren: Rodrigo, Gabriel, Alfonso, Nathalie and Alejandro Romero; Marie and Christine Lucker; Nelson, Claudia and Adriana Maldonado; Paloma and Roxana Bohmer; Olivia and Sandra Garcia and ten great- grandchildren.

Family will recieve friends on Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm at Everly Community Funeral Care, 6161 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA 22044.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 3pm at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Glen Carlyn Rd., Falls Church, VA.
